Sales Account Manager - Washington

Job Description

We are looking for a hungry sales representative that is entrenched in networks of event planners in key markets such Washington, Chicago, New York and surrounding area. The successful candidate will multi-task withease, execute the full sales cycle from research to close, creating opportunities and influencing decision makers. This hungry, self-driven candidate will control his/her own income level.

 

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • Ability to include multiple partners and members of the company management team using competitive selling to position company products against direct and indirect competitors.
  • Excellent presentation, written/verbal communication, negotiation, creative, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level understanding of technology solutions.
  • Solid experience with finding, managing, closing and strengthening personal client relationships is essential.

Experience

  • Achieving the financial goals and criteria established  for the position.
  • Successfully turnover new accounts to Operations to service.
  • Minimum 4+years of proven sales or customer facing (with revenue generation) experience in the events industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Event industry contacts and experience is considered a key asset. 
  • Knowledge of the target markets and meeting planners within the industry is extremely valuable
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM)
